Web & Graphic Design Intern

OVERVIEW

We are looking for part-time and full-time interns for the Summer term of 2024 (between May and September 2024, dates flexible) who are looking to fulfill degree requirements for a Web Design, Graphic Design, or similar accredited degree program.

HOURS & PAY

Full-Time | 30 hrs/week
We work a 30-hour week to maximize efficiency and work/life balance. It’s one of the fundamental values of our studio and we have never exceeded this time commitment for any employee.

Part-Time | 12-15 hrs/week
We offer a part-time internship option where you can opt to work 2-3 days per week in lieu of full time.

Pay | $18/hr

DAILY TASKS

Daily tasks will include design work, participation in studio meetings, and assisting in company-wide marketing efforts. You’ll report to our Executive Director, Jo. Your work might include but not be limited to:

• Web & Graphic Design

  • Assisting our design team with website designs and brand designs including websites built on Squarespace, Wordpress, Shopify, and Wix.

  • Assisting with the creation of social media graphics or brand collateral.

  • Finalizing and exporting of logo files for client branding projects.

• Client Meetings

  • Attending and notetaking for client meetings including sales calls, intake meetings, strategy sessions, design revision meetings, and project wrap-ups.

• Marketing

  • Participating in photo and video shoots for social media content including Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube.

  • Scheduling and posting social media content for company accounts.
