Six Amazon Finds to Spruce Up Your Workspace
Nowadays, there’s no better place to shop for your workspace than Amazon. Beyond the obvious things you can find on the online shopping giant is a treasure trove of office decor and productivity tools you can use to make your work day more fun and efficient. In fact, we’ve found six of our favorite office staples on Amazon, and we use them so much that we can’t imagine work without them now!
From simple tools to make the work day easier to extravagant goodies that make out-of-work functions more exciting, here are our six best Amazon recommendations for your workspace.

1.Lamicall Adjustable Cell Phone Stand
While a cell phone stand might not be a glamorous addition to your desk, you won’t regret buying one. Most of them are affordable and don’t take up much space, and all of them help you charge your phone and keep it handy while you’re working.
Surprisingly, we’ve found that having cell phone stands on our desks has kept us more on task than ever. Because rather than having to pick up our phones every time we get a notification, we can just glance to the side and see every alert we receive, quickly swiping away all the junk we don’t need to worry about.
You’re spoiled for choice when it comes to cell phone stands, but the Lamicall Phone Dock is our favorite around the office. It’s cheap, comes in a bunch of different colors, and supports just about every type of cell phone under the sun.
2. Rain Design Laptop Stand
If you’re picking up a stand for your cell phone, you might as well get one for your laptop too! Our favorite around the office is the mStand by Rain Design, which comfortably fits the Macbook Air and similarly sized laptops. They also sell tablet stands if you work a lot with an iPad or Microsoft Surface.
If you use multiple computer screens at work, a nice laptop stand is one of the best purchases you can make. You can use it to prop your laptop up to eye level and use that as a second screen, rather than having to purchase a separate monitor.
3. Touch Control Lamps with USB Outlets
We love the Pacific Northwest around here, but those cloudly, gloomy days in autumn, winter, and early spring are a bit too much to bear at times. That’s the biggest reason most of us have invested in desk lamps; to bring some brightness on those days where the sun just doesn’t want to cooperate. We also aren’t big fans of overhead lights.
You’ll find desk lamps all across Amazon, but these are our favorites for a few reasons. They have built-in USB chargers, three dimness settings, and touch controls that actually work. Plus, they just look nice on our desks!
4. D’Vine Dev Small Planter Pots
Nature is a big part of the culture here in Oregon. So since we’re cooped up inside all day, we like to bring as much of the great outdoors to our office as possible. For us, that meant buying plants to fill the empty areas in our workspace… lots of plants.
D’Vine Dev and their bulk sets of garden pots have come in handy for us. They sell sets of 10 planters from two to six and a half inches in diameter in either matte white or terracotta for a pretty affordable cost for how good they look.
If you have anyone in the office with a green thumb, we recommend investing in as many plants as you can fit on your desks and housing them in these beautiful planter pots!
5. Great Northern Popcorn Company Popcorn Machine
Not every worthwhile office addition needs to keep you on task or help your bottom line. Sometimes, the best thing you can do for your workspace is invest in something fun.
We could sit here and tell you that investing in a popcorn maker for the office is practical because you can bust it out for mixers and open houses, and all that is technically true. But who are we kidding? It’s just nice to have a machine handy that can make a nice snack whenever you need it.
In our office, we have an eight-ounce, antique-style popcorn machine from the Great Northern Popcorn Company. It comes in handy whenever we need popcorn in a hurry, and even when we don’t, it’s a great office decoration.
6. EdgeStar Kegerator Cooler
Finally, we get to what might be the most important feature of our office, our EdgeStar Kegerator Cooler. It’s small enough to fit neatly into cramped kitchen spaces without taking up excessive space, but big enough inside to store quarter or half-sized kegs of your favorite drinks. Plus, the built-in tap on top makes it easy to pour whatever you have stored. We personally love having the Yerba Mate/Kombucha blend from BNF in Eugene on hand at all times!
