8 Cute Fidgets For Your Office
Anyone who’s worked at a desk long enough knows that fidget toys aren’t just a luxury; they’re a necessity! They’re distractions when you want one and a mindless outlet to occupy enough of your brain to stay focused on your work when you need one. And though most of them are simple, fidget toys can also be a cute little addition to your desk and office, one that shows off a bit of your unique personality.
We’ve fully invested in fun fidgets in our office. Some of us buy cute little toys designed for fidgeting, while others just use whatever small objects we have lying around. And we wanted to show off eight of our favorite things that we use as cute fidgets that you can use for your office, so let’s take a look!
1. Rings
Jewelry might not be designed to be a fidget toy, but it’s easy to turn into one, and rings might be the most fidget-friendly type of jewelry you’ll find. And the best part is that if you already wear rings into the office, you’ll have a built-in fidget with your outfit.
2. Straws
If you’re really desperate for a fidget toy, some of us use straws to stay entertained. Though they might not necessarily be “cute” fidgets for your office, they’re easy to find and fun to spin between your fingers. And if you have a water bottle with a straw built into it that you bring to work every day, you won’t have to pack an extra fidget toy.
3. Bag of Dice
Dice are surprisingly perfect fidget toys, especially if you have custom ones in different colors and sizes. They’re small and cute if you get the right ones, and as long as you don’t roll them on your desk, they won’t make a sound.
We like our fidget toys to show off a bit of personality, and the dice bag is as unique as it is fun to fidget with. We recommend it to anyone who likes fidget toys almost as much as they do dice games.
4. Push Pop Coffee Cup Fidget Toy
This might be the best fidget toy we have in our office and the best one you’ll find for yours. It’s cute, colorful, infinitely entertaining, and you can lay it on your desk to fidget with one hand and work with the other. And the best part is that the bubbles don’t make a sound when you pop them, a win for you and your neighboring coworkers.

5. Fidget Spinner + Fidget Cube
There was a time not too terribly long ago when fidget spinners and cubes were all the rage. And while those years are now in the rearview mirror, spinners and cubes can still be fun fidgets. They’re small enough to not clutter your desk and easy to mindlessly fidget with just one hand.
One warning about fidget spinners is that the noise and movement can stress out dogs, which we learned the hard way as a dog-friendly office. But if you don’t work with animals around, fidget spinners and cubes are great desk toys.
6. Corded Headphones
Earbuds might be the most expensive “fidget” on this list, but there’s a good chance you already have a pair lying around. Plus, they’re more fun to fidget with than you might think! Although, it might be best to use a broken or unwanted pair so you don’t accidentally break your favorite headphones.
7. Pen
Before we had toys and technology specifically designed for fidgeting, we had to click our pens to occupy our hands and brains. And while a good old-fashioned pen might not be as satisfying or cute as any of the fidget toys above, it can get the job done in a pinch.
Of course, the biggest reason the pen faded into obscurity as a fidget was the noise. The constant clicking sound can drive anyone in your immediate vicinity mad, but if you work from home or in a private office, feel free to fidget with your pen to your heart’s content.
8. Literally Anything
Anything can be a fidget toy if you try hard enough! Some of us use stirring sticks for coffee as fidgets, some of us use squish toys, and some of us even tend to the plants around the office when we need something to do with our hands.
Point being, you have options when it comes to fidget toys! As long as it fits your vibe and is fun to play with, you can use it as a cute fidget for your office.
